This coffee comes from smallholder farmers in Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountains, a breathtaking range also known as the Mountains of the Moon. Grown in the high-altitude communities of Kasese, where cool mist, volcanic soils, and slow-maturing cherries create beautiful sweetness, this natural-process coffee is dried on raised beds to preserve its fruit-forward character.

We especially love that this coffee reflects the work of a broad community of producers, with 43% of the smallholders being women. Around here, we like to think of it as coffee from the moonlit valleys below the Mountains of the Moon — a fitting addition under the Night Sky. Expect a sweet, juicy cup with layers of fruit, soft chocolate, and a little cosmic charm.
